10 Exam Questions to Get You Started

When preparing for the master electrical exam or the journey electrical exam, it helps to see the questions as they are formatted in the real exam.  Now, obviously we aren't able to show you the exact question that is on the actual test, but you do get the formatting and the content as it is outlined in the exam candidate books.

Today we are sharing 10 exam questions to get you started on your ICC or PSI exam.  Some may seem very obvious and easy but don't forget, they add the wrong answer in the multiple choice in case you calculated wrong.

Make sure to time yourself when taking this mini test and see if you can answer each question in under 3 minutes.  Don't forget, the real exam is time giving you an average of 3 minutes per question.

Make sure to check back next week for the answers, or if you don't want to wait that long, sign up for our newsletter and we'll send you the answers by email.

How to Avoid Getting Lost in the Shuffle If you haven't heard that the end of the 2011 NEC Exams is coming up, then you've been living under a rock or working way too hard. That's right guys, if you have applied to take your exam but have not yet passed or even taken the exam, you have a deadline.  As of September 1, 2014, the TDLR will only accept and recognize the 2014 version of the  National Electrical Code ®  on the field and in the testing site.  The exam will be based on the 2014 version of the book, you will still be allowed to bring in your 2011 but we do not recommend that.  If you already have your 2014, you must have already noticed that there a great deal of updates on the code.  Your first clue should be the number of pages, the book has gotten BIGGER!
